Not Hidden

I was just looking through some old blog posts, and I found this one hiding among some others that I never posted.  I had the pictures all picked out but hadn't written anything.  I'll try to let most of these pictures speak for themselves but some may need a little explaining.

These pictures are from the first half of my Spring 2012 semester at Moody.  They begin with our Balloon Photo Shoot and end with my last picture with Carly and Lauren before I headed to the airport and they drove home to the suburbs for Spring Break.

I hope you enjoy looking through these miscellaneous pictures as much as I did.

Well, I'm off to a bad start of letting the pictures speak for themselves, but this is Lauren, Carly, and I at the lake looking out over the city with our balloons.

Struggling.

SAM!

MADDIE!

Landed like this...could have been worse.  Strangers joined Carly in taking pictures.  That got a little awkward.

Cupcakes.

Shamrock Shakes from McDonalds on Leap Day with my best "Scottish" friend ever.  So thankful Jesus brought her here all the way from Europe.

Hospital visit.

Sunday tradition:  leggings, oversized shirts/sweaters, and off to Panera to study.  Can we call it a tradition if we went twice?

Homework and cupcakes at the park.

Homework/coffee date at Joes with Allie.  Crazy thankful for her friendship.

Celebrating Purim in March with gummy worms from Walgreens.

Mary and Carly.  Two of the sweetest people in the world.

Saying goodbye for two whole weeks.

Today, I'm going to let finding this hidden post remind me that we are never hidden from His sight.

Psalm 139:7-10
"Where can I go to escape Your Sprit?
Where can I go to flee from Your presence?
If I go up to heaven, You are there;
if I make my bed in Sheol, You are there.
If I live at the eastern horizon
[or] settle at the western limits,
even there Your hand will lead me;
Your right hand will hold on to me."

As Hagar realized in Genesis 16, God is the God who sees (El roi).  Rejoice today, for you are not hidden from His sight.  He sees you.  And He loves you passionately.
